Expat Jailed Six Months for Using Forged University Degree

Lower Criminal Court sentenced a foreign national to six months in prison for submitting a forged university degree to obtain a teaching position, ordering his permanent deportation upon release.
The case emerged after the Ministry of Education discovered the fake certificate during routine verification procedures. The defendant presented it to a private school and to authorities for official accreditation.
Investigations confirmed the forgery through witness statements, a verification report, and direct confirmation from the named university that it had never issued the qualification. The court convicted the defendant, confiscated the document, and ruled he be permanently deported after serving his sentence.
