271,864 people entered Bahrain between January 21-27
The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence (GDNPR) on Thursday said 271,864 people had entered Bahrain between January 21 and 27.
He said 220,714 people arrived from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries via King Fahad Causeway, 48,636 through Bahrain International Airport and 2,5014 through ports.
The 25-km-long King Fahad Causeway, the terrestrial link between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, was opened on November 26, 1986. It has been used by millions of travellers and vehicles, making it one of the busiest traffic areas in the Arab world.
