Scholarship Applications for 95pc Students
The Ministry of Education has opened registration for scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year, inviting Bahraini secondary school graduates with a cumulative average of 95 per cent or above to apply.
Applications can be submitted through the ministry’s website and the dedicated scholarships and grants portal. The scholarship programme offers hundreds of opportunities across a wide range of disciplines aligned with labour market needs and future development priorities.
Local universities and higher education institutions have received the largest share of scholarships, covering fields such as medicine, engineering, technology, business, finance, law, humanities and digital-focused specialisations.
The programme also includes overseas scholarships in countries including Japan, the UK, the US and Gulf states. Japanese universities such as Waseda University, Kyushu University and Ritsumeikan University are included among the international options, offering programmes in technology, engineering and science fields.
