HM King Hamad Emphasizes sustain diplomatic efforts in Call with President Trump

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, , participated in a high-level telephone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, alongside leaders of several brotherly and friendly nations, to discuss recent regional and international developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

The call brought together a significant coalition of regional and international partners, reflecting the depth of diplomatic coordination currently underway across the Gulf and beyond. Participating nations included the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Iran deal at centre

The leaders reviewed the latest developments related to ongoing efforts aimed at reaching a draft framework of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, amid a period of intensified diplomatic activity across the region. The exchange reaffirmed the collective importance of continued dialogue and high-level consultation as the primary means of strengthening regional security and stability.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa emphasised the pressing need to sustain and intensify diplomatic efforts to bridge existing differences between all relevant parties, underscoring Bahrain's firm commitment to supporting peace and stability, and to enhancing opportunities for development and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the world at large.

His Majesty the King expressed his sincere appreciation to President Donald Trump for his personal support of initiatives aimed at promoting stability and advancing mutual understanding among all relevant parties, recognising the United States' pivotal role in facilitating the current diplomatic process.

Pakistan's efforts commended

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa further commended the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in working constructively toward a proposed memorandum of understanding, which seeks to achieve broad consensus among all sides. His Majesty expressed his sincere hope that the ongoing diplomatic initiatives will contribute to the achievement of lasting peace, security, and stability across the region.
