Khalid AlQoud Wins Arab Leadership Award for Corporate Social Responsibility
Khalid AlQoud, Chairman of the Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility Society, has been honoured with the Arab Leadership Personality Award in Corporate Social Responsibility during his participation as a keynote speaker at the 4th Arab Innovation and Investment Forum, held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States.
The forum is one of the Arab region’s leading platforms, bringing together experts and stakeholders in innovation, artificial intelligence, investment, green technologies, and future industries. It aims to empower startups, support creative youth across Arab countries, and contribute to building a sustainable, innovation-driven Arab economy.
The event serves as a vital link between entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and decision-makers through an integrated ecosystem focused on training, networking, and showcasing investment opportunities, helping transform creative ideas into impactful and sustainable projects.
In his address, AlQoud highlighted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s growing role in supporting innovation and artificial intelligence ecosystems, as well as its attractive and business-friendly investment environment. He praised national policies that have positioned Bahrain as a leading Arab model in empowering youth, encouraging entrepreneurship, and investing in the knowledge economy.
His speech was widely commended by attendees for its practical insights and real-world experiences in innovation, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development. AlQoud also underscored Bahrain’s progress in integrating social responsibility with economic growth under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On the sidelines of the forum, AlQoud received the Arab Leadership Personality Award in recognition of his pioneering efforts and sustained support for corporate social responsibility initiatives across the Arab world. The award acknowledges his contributions to promoting sustainability, empowering youth, and building development partnerships with lasting social and economic impact.

The fourth edition of the forum marked a significant milestone, with its official launch at the League of Arab States headquarters and broad participation from across the Arab world. It was held in cooperation with several Arab governmental bodies, including Egypt’s Ministries of Youth, Communications, Industry, and Environment, as well as the UNIDO Office in Bahrain, reflecting the forum’s institutional importance and unifying Arab role.
The forum concluded with notable success, hosting high-level sessions and facilitating connections between young innovators and investors, supporting the launch of startups and entrepreneurial initiatives across key sectors, and strengthening youth participation in Arab economic development.
