The national job initiative is gaining strong momentum, with over 18,600 registered jobseekers already benefiting from its three tailored opportunities as 2025 draws to a close.

Specifically, 18,657 jobseekers were offered the three options, with 4,746 citizens successfully placed under the initiative to date.

Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Labour and Minister of Legal Affairs, said the initiative, launched in line with the directives of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is progressing according to a well-defined plan.

“ Progress is measured using official data from the Social Insurance Organisation ( SIO) , t h e Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA),” the minister explained.

He described the initiative as an initial step on an ambitious path of future achievements, driven by the determination of Bahrain’s national talent. “The directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister provide strong national momentum, motivating all parties to work at an accelerated pace,” he added.

The minister highlighted that the achievements of recent months mark the beginning of a broader phase aimed at making the labour market more supportive and empowering for national talent.

He also praised the private sector for its active role, noting that the participation of its institutions in implementing the initiative reflects confidence in Bahraini citizens as key partners in shaping the Kingdom’s future.

He concluded by calling for continued efforts to maintain and strengthen the current pace to achieve all aspirations and further advance Bahrain’s workforce development.
