Marine Resources Director General Meets with Professional Fishermen’s Association President

Mr. Mohammed Yousef Al-Assam, Director General of Marine Resources (Supreme Council for the Environment), recently met with Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Buainain, Chairman of the Professional Fishermen’s Association.
The meeting affirmed the commitment to sustained cooperation with civil society to ensure the sustainability and protection of marine wealth in Bahrain.
They discussed proposals from the association aimed at developing the fishing sector and preserving this vital profession as a key part of the Kingdom’s economic and social heritage
