The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that it is actively following up on the situation of Bahraini and Kuwaiti citizens detained by Israeli security authorities.
In an official statement, the Ministry said it has been in direct contact with the relevant Israeli authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of the detainees. Officials from the Bahraini Embassy recently visited the detention centre to meet with the citizens and assess their condition firsthand.
According to the statement, Israeli authorities have requested that the detainees complete the necessary official documentation to facilitate their departure and safe return to their respective countries, in line with established procedures.
The Ministry emphasized that it continues to work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait to coordinate efforts and monitor developments. Both countries remain committed to ensuring that their citizens return home safely and swiftly, with full respect for legal and diplomatic protocols.
