Court to Deliver Verdict in Case of Asian Expat Convicted of Murder

The First High Criminal Court is scheduled to deliver its ruling on September 29 in the appeal of an Asian expatriate who was previously sentenced to life imprisonment and ordered to be deported permanently after serving his sentence. The court also upheld the confiscation of the murder weapon, a brick, used in the attack.

According to case details, the defendant deliberately killed his roommate. He had premeditated the crime, made a firm decision, and planned to take the victim’s life. To carry out the act, he prepared a brick. Taking advantage of a quiet moment in their residence while the victim was performing prayers, the defendant struck the victim repeatedly on the head with the brick, causing fatal injuries.
