Bahrain & Egypt Partner for Growth: Agreements Signed Across 10+ Sectors
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasized the deep-rooted and distinguished relations between Bahrain and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt. He highlighted the continuous growth and progress of these ties across all levels, thanks to the ongoing support and attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which contribute to achieving the aspirations of both nations and their peoples.
HRH the Crown Prince made these remarks during a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly in the New Administrative Capital, as part of his official visit to Egypt. During the meeting, HRH praised the current level of bilateral cooperation and coordination and stressed the importance of continuing to create new opportunities and effective partnerships that promote development and prosperity for both countries.
The Crown Prince also underscored Egypt’s pivotal role in the Arab region and its efforts to strengthen Arab national security. He affirmed that Bahrain and Egypt will continue to work together to expand areas of cooperation and partnership, meeting the aspirations of both peoples for further progress and prosperity.
During the discussions, HRH the Crown Prince and PM Madbouly reviewed ways to enhance collaboration in key sectors, including digital transformation, finance and banking, logistics, industry, tourism, construction, and food security, along with shared regional and international concerns.
PM Madbouly expressed his sincere appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince’s commitment to strengthening Bahrain-Egypt relations, wishing continued progress and development for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Investment in Aluminum: MoU between Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA) and Egyptalum to explore the feasibility of building an alumina refinery in Egypt.

Investment Cooperation: MoU between Bahrain Economic Development Board and Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.

Exhibitions and Conferences: Strategic cooperation MoU between Bahrain International Exhibitions Center and Egypt’s General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.

Customs Cooperation: Mutual recognition agreement for the Authorized Economic Operator program.

Tourism Collaboration: MoU between the Ministries of Tourism in Bahrain and Egypt.

Cultural Heritage: MoU between Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

Competition Protection: MoU on cooperation in competition protection between Bahrain and Egypt.

Sustainable Development: MoU on technical cooperation and capacity building between Bahrain’s Ministry of Sustainable Development and Egypt’s Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
