Bahrain’s Education Sector Receives Strong Royal Support

His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, affirmed that Bahrain’s educational and academic development continues to receive sustained support and high-level royal patronage from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him. He expressed pride in the King’s guidance and vision, which aim to advance progress and prosperity in the education sector, contributing to national achievements and sustainable development across all levels.

His Excellency praised the royal speech delivered by His Majesty on the occasion of the new academic year (2025–2026), noting that it reflects the King’s high expectations for a year full of educational accomplishments. He added that the speech embodies the highest recognition of efforts to develop the education sector and serves as a motivation for students and teachers to strive for excellence and dedication in their studies.

“The King’s speech reinforces Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to achieve growth and advancement in education, and emphasizes the importance of using modern tools and technologies to support teaching and learning,” the Shura Council Chief said. “This aligns with the nation’s broader goals for development and sustainable progress.”

He also expressed appreciation for the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, noting the innovative programs and initiatives that enhance educational outcomes and nurture students according to the highest standards of quality and competence. These efforts, he added, are in harmony with advanced curricula, Islamic values, and Bahrain’s strong national principles.

The Shura Council Speaker commended the Crown Prince’s dedication to leveraging resources and expertise in support of education, praising the Bahrain team under his leadership for their commitment to deepening the achievements and successes of the kingdom’s educational journey.

Finally, His Excellency congratulated all educational administrators, teachers, and students across Bahrain on the start of the new academic year, appreciating the collaborative efforts that aim to strengthen the education sector and promote excellence at all educational stages.
