Interior Minister Meets Bahrain’s Newly Appointed Ambassadors to Thailand and Germany

Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, welcomed Bahrain’s newly appointed ambassadors this morning — Mr. Khalil Yaqoub Al Khayat, Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Minister congratulated both envoys on the Royal trust placed in them through their appointments, wishing them success in representing Bahrain abroad and carrying out their new responsibilities.

Shaikh Rashid praised the long-standing reputation and expertise of Bahraini diplomacy, noting its commitment to working alongside state institutions to safeguard national interests. He highlighted that Bahrain’s embassies play a vital role in showcasing the country’s progress, stability, and security under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

During the meeting, they also discussed strengthening cooperation and security coordination between Bahrain, Thailand, and Germany, with an emphasis on opening new areas for joint work in the future.

Both ambassadors expressed their gratitude to the Minister for his support and guidance, praising his vision in advancing Bahrain’s diplomatic and security objectives.
