Lawmaker, municipality key officials visit tragedy site

Dr Sayed Shubbar Ibrahim Al Wadaei, chairman of the Northern Municipal Council, visited the site of a house fire in Saar on Monday evening that claimed the life of a 10-year-old girl.
He was accompanied by Northern Municipality inspector Ibrahim Khalil and Third Constituency representative Mohammed Saad Al Doseri. Al Wadaei met relatives of the family, offering condolences for the loss of the child, Zainab, and wishing their injured son a full recovery.
He directed technical and social teams from the Department of Urban and Village Development to take the necessary steps in fire cases and to provide urgent assistance to the family.
Al Wadaei also commended Civil Defence for containing the blaze and limiting damage to neighbouring homes, while thanking the Ministry of Interior for its immediate follow-up and measures taken after the incident.
