Bahrain’s Ombudsman Meets US Embassy Official to Strengthen International Cooperation
Mrs. Ghada Hameed Habib, Secretary-General of the Ombudsman, received Mr. Adam Stern, Political and Economic Counselor at the United States Embassy in Bahrain, at her office today at the General Secretariat of the Ombudsman.
The meeting is part of the Secretariat’s ongoing international cooperation efforts, aimed at building strong relationships with global institutions and exploring opportunities for exchanging expertise in shared areas of interest.
During the meeting, Mrs. Habib provided an overview of the Secretariat’s roles and responsibilities, highlighted key information and statistics from its 11th annual report, and discussed its work in promoting human rights awareness and informing the public about available legal mechanisms for submitting complaints.
The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of International Cooperation and Development at the Secretariat.
