HM King Hamad Honours US Ambassador Bondy with Order of Bahrain

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, has awarded the Order of Bahrain, First Class to US Ambassador Steven C. Bondy, in recognition of his dedicated efforts in enhancing the strong and historic relationship between Bahrain and the United States.

The honour was presented during a meeting held today at Safriya Palace, where His Majesty received Ambassador Bondy and expressed appreciation for his role in deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

His Majesty praised the decades-long friendship between Bahrain and the US, noting the significant progress achieved in areas of cooperation and mutual interest. The King also highlighted the outcomes of the recent visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United States, which contributed to further strengthening bilateral ties.

HM the King commended the ambassador’s efforts in promoting understanding and collaboration, and acknowledged the vital role played by the United States in supporting global and regional peace and security.

Ambassador Bondy expressed his sincere gratitude to His Majesty for the prestigious honour, and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the close partnership and longstanding friendship between the two nations.
