Health Ministry denies rumours
Health authorities in the Kingdom yesterday denied rumours that patients’ beds were being used to carry building construction materials around Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC).
The statement came after local social media networks circulated pictures showing workers transporting building materials, such as cement bags and concrete blocks, on medical beds in what seems to be a hospital.
Stating on its official Twitter page, Health Ministry explained, “the concrete blocks shown in the pictures are not used in SMC and the beds are not similar to those used in the hospital.”
The Ministry also mentioned that the corridors shown in the pictures were not in SMC.
