Textbook distribution preparations completed

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that all public schools across the Kingdom have finalised preparations for the distribution of textbooks for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year.

The distribution process is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 22, 2025, allowing students and their parents to collect textbooks from their respective schools in accordance with each school’s designated schedule and guidelines.

The Ministry stated that distributing textbooks ahead of the summer vacation will enable students to review the curriculum in advance, better preparing them for the new academic year.

It will also help schools ensure a smoother start to the school year by reducing the logistical pressures of textbook distribution upon students’ return.

Dedication and coordination

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, praised the dedication and coordination of educational and administrative teams who completed the preparations in line with the approved plan and deadlines.

He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all those involved — across various roles and specializations — for their efforts in curriculum development, textbook design and production, logistical supervision, and school-level readiness.

Dr. Juma noted that more than two million textbooks will be distributed to students across all public schools as part of the Ministry’s commitment to delivering high-quality educational resources and ensuring a smooth start to the academic year.
