Shura Council Chairman Praises HM the King’s Address at Extraordinary Arab Summit

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, has commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s address at the Extraordinary Arab Summit on Palestine in Egypt, emphasizing its strategic vision for just peace and unwavering support for the historical rights of the Palestinian people.

Al Saleh highlighted His Majesty’s call for Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative, international resolutions, and the two-state solution. He reaffirmed Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to Palestinian rights, noting that His Majesty’s speech reflected the outcomes of the 33rd Arab Summit held in Bahrain in May, particularly the rejection of displacement and settlement expansion.

Arab Unity and Commitment to Peace
The Shura Chairman praised His Majesty’s leadership in strengthening Arab unity and promoting tolerance, moderation, and peaceful coexistence. He also welcomed the collective stance of Arab leaders in supporting Gaza’s reconstruction and improving the humanitarian situation, while firmly rejecting forced displacement.

Al Saleh further acknowledged Egypt’s pivotal role in hosting the summit and reinforcing Arab solidarity in defense of Palestinian rights. He lauded the efforts of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in spearheading regional initiatives and upholding Palestine’s cause on the international stage.
