Butt, AL Moayyed win Monday Madness golf

Royal Golf Club Member Iftikhar Butt enjoyed his second consecutive win in the six-week long Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series,this time with a different playing partner. Butt and Tawfeeq Al Moayyed (30 nett) to win the “3 x 3 Rumble” competition, narrowly knocking the duo of Rajinder Sachdeva and Kwang Seok Kim (30.6) into second place.

Third place went to Jamie Bowen and Mike Brightmore (31.9), while the nearest the pin side contest on holes 12 and 16 were won by Todd Gillespie and Murtuz Zamanly respectively.

Around 30 golfers competed in the competition which was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge.

Sheldon Cameron, the Royal Golf Club’s Golf Operations Manager was on hand to present the prizes.

The series takes place every Monday over nine-holes and is open to non-members and tees off with a 6:30pm shotgun start.
