Ebdaa funds 2200 projects
Manama : Ebdaa Microfinance Bank announced funding 2200 beneficiaries helping them to turn their ideas and work plans into projects or for their existing projects through the bank’s financing services.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ebdaa Microfinance Bank, Mona Yousuf Almoayyed, revealed this during a recent board meeting.
Mrs Al-Moayad praised the role played by AGFUND, which owns 40% of Ebdaa Bank – Bahrain and shareholders such as Khalid Kanoo and Abdul Hamid Diwani in supporting the bank’s progress.
Dr Khalid Al-Ghazzawi, CEO of Ebdaa Bank, said that the bank was able to stop bleeding of accumulated losses and move to balance between expenses and revenues, thanks to the quantum leap by adopting bold reforms in terms of internal structure and operations.
The Bank of Creativity records positive growth figures in 2018 despite economic challenges.
On the sidelines, some of the bank’s distinguished employees were honoured by Mona Al Moayad and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nasser Al Qahtani. 3
