Security key to progress: PM

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that security and stability should be the cornerstone of regional and international policies.

The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving state officials as well as intellectuals and media figures.

The region has had enough obstacles to its security and stability, and needs a state of stability to be able to carry on its efforts towards achieving progress and welfare for its citizens, HRH Premier said.

While Bahrain stretches its hands to whoever seeks unity and cooperation for best interests of all, it rejects interference in its affairs so as not to put its security and stability at risk, HRH Premier said.

The urban development has become a major aspect of the Kingdom’s development march, HRH Premier said adding that the development process in Bahrain is given top priority by the government and is subject to its constant follow-up, being directly related the citizens’ daily life.

HRH Premier said that the pace of work and achievement in various fields is going ahead as planned so that the citizens enjoy the best services, and to ensure a better future for the nation and its people.

HRH the Prime Minister voiced pride in the long-standing values of communication, interaction and rapprochement adopted by the Bahraini people, the binding factor being  love and fraternity.

HRH Premier lauded the press and media personnel in Bahrain for their remarkable role in enlightening society and motivating its members to be effective tools of national development and progress, hailing their patriotic stances towards issues that interest their nation.
