Indian drowned off Al Jazair beach
Manama : An Indian expatriate was drowned off Al Jazair beach on Monday. The man has been identified as Jaspal Singh, a technician at Alfajr Garage W.l.l.
“We still don’t know what caused the drowning or what happened, only after the postmortem reports are out we can comment on the incident,” said a source.
“We have informed his family in India about the demise and the body will be repatriated back to his homeland after the legal formalities are completed,” the source said.
Ministry of Interior, in a tweet, said that necessary actions are being taken.
A similar incident had happened on June 27, 2017, when an Indian expat, Kabees Abdul Jaleel, 32, a supervisor at Kooheji Contractors W.l.l. lost his life after drowning in a swimming pool in Juffair.
