Taking bonhomie to another level

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the biggest urban development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, welcomed a visiting delegation from the Council of Representatives of Jordan, headed by the Head of Labour and Social Development and Population Committee, Abdullah Obeidat, on December 6. The delegation is on an official visit to the Kingdom aimed at enhancing cooperation between the Councils of Representatives of the two countries and to discuss means to further boosting the Bahraini-Jordanian relationship on all fronts.

The visiting delegation was welcomed upon arrival to Diyar Al Muharraq by the Managing Director Aaref Hejres as well as other senior members from the management of Diyar Al Muharraq. The Parliamentary delegation was received at the Diyar Sales Office in Diyar Al Muharraq where they were shown an intricate presentation on Diyar Al Muharraq in its entirety, including all the projects it encompasses and their individual statuses. The delegation was then taken on a familiarization tour to Diyar Homes, a prominent residential community that presents the ideal setting for traditional Bahraini family living with high quality housing standards, and Dragon Mall within Dragon City, a commercial shopping centre that is considered to be the gateway to investment and trade exchange between the Kingdom of Bahrain and China, which opened its doors to the people of Bahrain in late December last year.

On the significance of the visit,  Managing Director Aaref Hejres said: “It is indeed a great pleasure to be welcoming such a distinguished delegation to Diyar Al Muharraq. For such an eminent commission to be paying us a visit solely due to their sheer interest in the size of our enormous project and the scope of its impact, is a huge honour as it speaks volumes about the publicity and exposure that Diyar Al Muharraq is generating on a regional scale.”

“Diyar Homes and Dragon City are two of our most integral projects and with Phase 1 of the residential project due for handover to the first batch of residents in the upcoming months and with the landmark Dragon City having been officially inaugurated in December 2015, we are currently witnessing a wave of public demand and fascination that has exceeded all expectations and we take pride in knowing that the allure of Diyar Al Muharraq has peaked interest in Jordan as well,” he remarked.

“Since the opening of Dragon City, we are proud to say that we have stimulated an unparalleled ripple of public indulgence, the likes of which the Kingdom of Bahrain has never seen before and with this being a substantial fillip to the economy of the Kingdom and with us being pioneers in our unique practices and innovations, we are immensely happy to note that the far eastern charm we exude will only increase with time,” he commented.

“At this juncture, on behalf of Diyar Al Muharraq, I would like to reiterate our utmost joy in being able to host the Jordanian Council of Representatives delegation and we extend our sincere appreciation for the interest they have shown to our development,” he added.

The first pivotal project of Diyar Al Muharraq to be opened to the public, the $100 million project Dragon City is poised to rake in enormous beneficial opportunities, including immense financial gains, impact massively on the lifestyle of Bahrainis, bringing about a significant change in their business ventures henceforth and their perspective on general living as well, and consolidate the Kingdom’s status as the hub for trade, commerce and investment opportunities in the region.

Diyar Al Muharraq is a unique master planned city for the people of Bahrain offering range of housing options and quality lifestyle. Diyar Al Muharraq offers a cohesive mix of residential and commercial properties with a strong line up of projects aimed at creating a long term and sophisticated township.
