Car bomb explodes outside Mexico police station, seven wounded

Mexico City: A car bomb exploded outside a police station in Ojocaliente, Zacatecas, late Sunday, injuring at least six people and one officer, according to authorities. The device was allegedly put inside a private vehicle parked near the police station.
The blast damaged the police station, neighbouring buildings, and 13 vehicles, including two police patrol cars. Authorities initiated a security operation to find those responsible and declared the situation under control.
The incident occurred while the town was preparing for its yearly celebration. Following the explosion, officials cancelled the scheduled coronation and suspended schools and government activity in the area. No group has claimed credit.
