Zelenskyy Says Up To 50,000 North Korean Troops Could Join Russia

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that up to 50,000 North Korean troops could be deployed in Russia to support Moscow in its war against Ukraine.
Zelenskyy said North Korea is using the conflict to gain battlefield experience and access to modern military technology from Russia. Ukraine has already reported North Korean troops and weapons supporting Russian forces.
He also said North Korean missiles had been found in Ukraine and called on South Korea to provide more air defence support. Zelenskyy proposed greater cooperation with Seoul on drones and other defence technologies.
The possible deployment would mark a significant expansion of North Korea's military involvement in the war. North Korea previously sent thousands of troops to Russia, including forces involved in fighting around the Kursk region.
