Qatar Condemns Israeli Settler Attacks in Occupied West Bank

Qatar has strongly condemned attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against several villages in the occupied West Bank, describing the incidents as a continuation of policies aimed at escalating violence against the Palestinian people.

In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks represent a “flagrant violation” of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, accusing Israeli authorities of enabling settler actions under the protection of the Israeli military and security forces.

The ministry said the incidents reflect a broader pattern of violations and called on Israeli authorities to fulfill their responsibilities under international and humanitarian law by stopping settler attacks and holding those responsible accountable.

Qatar also urged the international community to take immediate action to halt repeated attacks against Palestinians, provide protection for civilians, and ensure accountability for those involved.

Reaffirming its long-standing position, the ministry said Qatar remains committed to supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
