OIC Condemns Deadly Terrorist Attack in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Organisation reaffirms solidarity with Islamabad in fight against terrorism
The General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned a terrorist attack targeting a security checkpoint in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several soldiers and a civilian.
In a statement, the OIC expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of Pakistan, as well as the families of those killed in the attack. It also wished a swift recovery to those injured.
The organisation reaffirmed its solidarity with Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and violence, stressing its firm rejection of terrorism and extremism in all forms and manifestations.
The OIC reiterated its commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at promoting peace, security, and stability.
