GCC, Germany Stress Need for Coordinated Efforts to Enhance Regional Security

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi held talks with German Federal Foreign Minister Dr Johann Wadephul in Brussels, focusing on strengthening GCC-Germany relations and enhancing cooperation across various fields.
The meeting, held on Monday during Albudaiwi’s official visit to the Belgian capital, addressed ways to further develop bilateral ties and expand partnership areas in line with the shared interests of both sides.
The two officials also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, focusing particularly on the evolving situation in the Middle East.
They stressed the importance of continued coordination, consultation and joint efforts to support security and stability in the region, while highlighting the need to reduce tensions and promote diplomatic solutions to ongoing crises.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to working together to advance peace, stability and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
