Trump Warns of Further Strikes on Iran’s Infrastructure

Washington D.C.: U.S. President Donald Trump warned late Thursday that American forces could intensify strikes on Iran, signalling that key infrastructure targets remain under consideration.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the U.S. military has yet to begin “destroying what’s left in Iran,” adding that bridges and electric power plants could be next targets.
The remarks came hours after Trump claimed that one of Iran’s major bridges had already been destroyed, as part of ongoing military operations.
Trump has repeatedly stated that most of Iran’s major military targets have been significantly damaged or eliminated over the past month of conflict.
He also suggested that Iran’s leadership is aware of the need to act quickly, in an apparent reference to ongoing calls for Tehran to reach a deal with Washington that could lead to a ceasefire.
The comments mark a further escalation in rhetoric amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
