New App Feature Allows Residents to Report Aerial Threats in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Defense has launched a new service that allows citizens and residents to report suspicious aerial sightings through the national application Tawakkalna.

The initiative enables users to quickly report unusual aerial objects such as drones or missiles. Authorities say the feature is designed to ensure that reports reach relevant agencies in the shortest possible time, allowing faster responses to protect the country and safeguard its capabilities.

According to the official spokesperson of the ministry, Turki Al-Maliki, the service reflects efforts to strengthen cooperation between authorities and the public in monitoring potential threats.

Al-Maliki emphasized that the Saudi armed forces possess advanced capabilities to confront any aerial attacks or threats that may occur against the Kingdom. However, the new reporting feature allows citizens and residents to play an active role by reporting anything that could pose a danger to national security.

He described the initiative as an important step in leveraging modern technology to involve the community in identifying and responding to potential threats.
