Norwegian authorities have confiscated a drone operated by a foreign national near Oslo Airport, amid a week of drone-related flight disruptions in Norway and Denmark, police said Thursday.
The operator, a man in his 50s, was flying the drone in a restricted area, though it did not interfere with air traffic, Lisa Mari Lokke, head of prosecutions at Norway’s Eastern Police District, told AFP.
The man was not arrested but is expected to be questioned by police. Authorities did not disclose his nationality.
