Shooting in Jerusalem Leaves Four Dead, Several Injured
At least four people were killed and several others wounded in a shooting attack in Jerusalem on Monday morning, according to Israeli emergency services.
Israel’s emergency response service, Magen David Adom (MDA), confirmed that the victims include a man in his 50s and three men in their 30s. Five people with serious gunshot injuries were taken to hospital, while earlier reports suggested around 15 people had been hurt in total.
The attack took place along a busy highway shortly after the morning rush hour.
A police spokesperson told local media that “two terrorists have been neutralized,” though the situation remains under investigation.
