In response to the growing global health concern of vaping, several schools across the UAE have launched a zero-tolerance campaign to address its rising prevalence among students. Leading educational institutions, including GEMS Education, are taking decisive action to promote student health and well-being.

Recognizing the serious risks of vaping and nicotine addiction, schools are focusing on re-educating students about its dangers. As part of the initiative, advanced vaping detection sensors will be installed in various schools, including the newly opened GEMS School of Research and Innovation in August 2025.

The zero-tolerance policy is clear: students caught vaping will face serious consequences, as the schools seek to eliminate vaping and create a healthier learning environment. This initiative marks a significant step toward curbing vaping habits among young people.
