Bahraini-British motor racing team 2 Seas Motorsport came away with a podium in class yesterday in the eighth and penultimate round of the 2022 Intelligent Money British GT Championship, held at Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent, England. While the 2 Seas pair of Lewis Williamson and James Cottingham narrowly missed out on an overall podium in the team’s #4 Mercedes AMG-GT3, teammates Andrew Howard and Chris Froggatt with Sky Tempesta Racing took third place in the GT3 Silver-Am class while finishing 20th overall. Williamson and Cottingham had started the two-hour race from pole position, but lost three places in the event and crossed the finish line fourth overall, 14.965 seconds behind the winners after 78 laps.

The pair were also ranked fourth amongst the GT3 ProAm pairings. For Howard and Froggatt, they completed 67 laps in the race’s duration in their #93 Mercedes AMG-GT3. There were a total of 23 GT3 cars that started on the grid. Following this round, the team now heads to the season-finale, scheduled to take place at Donington Park in Derby on October 15 and 16.
