Bahraini basketball player dies in Kenya

An international Bahraini basketball player representing an Egyptian club in a basketball championship in Kenya has passed away recently, our sister newspaper Alayam reported.
It is not yet clear if Kareem Abdulaziz, who represented Egyptian club Heliopolis Basketball, died during a match, or the reasons behind his sudden demise. It’s worth citing that the Bahraini basketball player represented Manama Club as well as Bahrain’s under 18 national team before heading to Egypt to complete his studies.
He signed with the Heliopolis Basketball and went to Kenya to participate in the competition. In a Facebook post, Heliopolis Basketball expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased.
