Bahrain sport mourns passing of Shaikh Ebrahim

The Bahrain sporting community mourned the passing yesterday of Shaikh Ebrahim bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA).
The late Shaikh Ebrahim contributed greatly to sport in the Kingdom for many years, particularly to track and field as well as road running. He was president of the BAA from 2001 to 2004.
Bahrain’s sporting community expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the late Shaikh Ebrahim.
