The 2025–2026 Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League reaches its decisive conclusion this weekend, with Matchweek 22 set to determine the champion, continental qualification spots, and relegation outcomes across the table.
The title race took a major turn in Matchweek 21 after Muharraq secured a crucial 2–1 victory over Al Khaldiya, moving the defending champions to the summit of the standings. Muharraq now lead the table with 52 points, closely followed by Al Khaldiya on 51, setting up a tense final weekend in the title battle.
With just one round remaining, the championship remains firmly open, with both contenders still capable of lifting the trophy depending on Saturday’s results.
Matchweek 22 Fixtures
The final round of fixtures will be played across Friday and Saturday, with all matches carrying significant implications at both ends of the table.
Title Race Scenarios Muharraq enter the final day knowing victory over A’ali would guarantee the championship, regardless of Al Khaldiya’s result. Al Khaldiya must defeat Al Najma and hope Muharraq drop points in order to reclaim top spot and clinch the title.
Riffa sit comfortably in third place on 46 points after a consistent campaign, while mid-table positioning is still to be finalized among Al Malkiya, A’ali Club, and Al Hidd.
Relegation Battle
At the bottom of the table, pressure remains high as the season concludes. Teams finishing 9th and 10th will enter relegation play-offs against First Division opposition, adding weight to Saturday’s matches involving Al Najma and Budaiya.
Al Shabab and Bahrain SC have already been relegated following difficult campaigns.
