His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, attended the closing of the prestigious King’s Endurance Cup Festival, organised by the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Federation at Bahrain International Endurance Village.
The event was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
Shaikh Nasser expressed pride in the remarkable success of the festival, emphasising that the strong competition among riders and the high level of participation reflect the distinguished status of Bahrain’s endurance racing at both regional and international levels. He praised the advanced technical standards showcased throughout the competitions, noting that they highlight the continuous development of endurance sport in the Kingdom.
Shaikh Nasser crowned the winners of the 160-kilometre His Majesty the King’s International Endurance Cup, where rider Isa Humaid Al Enazi of Victorious Team secured first place. Mohammed Al Subaie of KHK Team finished second, while Faisal Al Enazi of Victorious Team claimed third place.
In the 120-kilometre His Majesty the King’s Local Endurance Cup for Private Gulf Stables, Omani rider Mohammed Al Fauri secured first place. Rashid Jamal of Al Safinat Stable came second, and fellow Omani rider Azzam Al Balushi finished third.
The festival once again underscored Bahrain’s growing prominence in the endurance racing arena and its commitment to advancing equestrian sports.
