Bahrain launches three-week ITF junior tennis tournament series

The Bahrain Tennis Federation has launched the first of three consecutive International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior tournaments, with the opening week featuring intense qualifying rounds for the boys’ singles main draw.
The preliminary matches saw emerging international talent secure their places in the competition.
Turkey’s Cenkaya Cinar delivered a standout performance, winning three straight matches including a victory over Australia’s Brandon Haas.
India’s Hariharan and Russia’s Savva Morozov also advanced strongly, with Morozov conceding only five games across two matches.
Spain’s Juan Rosell Vives dominated his section of the draw, losing just seven games in three qualifying wins.
