Bahrain’s Iconic Marina West Project Heads to Sumou Holding
Sumou Holding has won the highly anticipated Marina West project in a public auction held earlier today, under the supervision of the Committee for the Settlement of Stalled Real Estate Development Projects.
The company secured the project with a bid of BD 19.8 million.
Strategically located on Bahrain’s western coastline, Marina West is one of the kingdom’s most prominent mixed-use waterfront developments. The project is designed to feature a luxury hotel, high-end residential and commercial towers, and retail spaces, positioning it as a premier coastal destination that blends luxurious living, entertainment, and investment opportunities.
The development consists of 11 towers, including one luxury hotel tower and ten residential towers, offering a total of 1,168 hotel and residential units. It also features 7,253 square meters of commercial space, along with villas and townhouses spanning 4,111 square meters. The hotel tower alone boasts a total built-up area of approximately 42,000 square meters, housing 144 rooms and suites, along with extensive service and recreational facilities.
