Annual day celebrations bring out the creative best

ManamaThe British Primary section of Al Noor International School recently held its 24th Annual Day celebrations in the presence of students, staff and parents. 

The Chief Guest on the occasion was Chairman of the school Ali Hassan. Director Dr. Muhammad Mashood, Acting-Principal Amin Halewa, and the Head Teachers of the different sections of the school, parents and other invited guests were present at the event .

Awards for excellence 

Meritorious students and toppers of Grades 1 to 4 received Academic Excellence awards for the year 2015-2016 on the occasion. 

A total of 86 students received trophies for their outstanding performance in the Talent Competition, which was held earlier this year.

Talent show

The rest of the evening was a display of varied talents by the students. The highlights of the programme were a colourful depiction of “The Story of the Rainbow” performed by the students of Grade 2, and a traditional Arabic dance. 

The students of Grade 1 performed a musical play on the importance of reading. 

A play with a social message, “respecting and caring for your parents” presented by the students of grade 3, stole the show. 

The other highlights of the evening were a heart-touching rendition of a famous Bahraini patriotic song performed by the British Primary Section Orchestra. 

A dance drama the “Best Days of Our Lives”, a journey through school life was a riveting performance by the students of Grade 4. The night concluded with a dance showcasing the unity among the GCC countries.
