The Merchant House fêted at Hospitality Excellence Awards MEA

Popular 5-star boutique hotel The Merchant House has expanded its list of accolades by winning the Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2022. The brand gained the top position in the category “Hotel of the Year (Best Weekend Getaway)”.
The Hospitality Excellence Awards MEA are conferred based on popular voting and recognize top industry organisations which have shown skill, creativity, ingenuity and success in the Middle East & Africa’s growing hospitality industry.
Commenting on the win, Justin Kim, GM of The Merchant House, said “I would first like to thank everyone who voted for us at the awards. It’s nice to see our efforts validated on such a prestigious stage.”
The Merchant House along with its restaurant Indigo Terrace, has been the recipient of a number of high profile awards this past year, including Condé Nast Traveller ME 13 of the best restaurants in Bahrain 2022; 2021 Tripadvisor Top 10% of Hotels Worldwide - Travelers’ Choice Award; and Condé Nast Traveller ME Top 10 restaurants in Bahrain 2021.
