Shura, Representatives review tech transformation

Senior officials from Bahrain’s two parliamentary chambers met to review ongoing digital transformation initiatives aimed at modernising legislative work through advanced technologies, according to an official statement.
The Secretary-General of the Shura Council of Bahrain, Her Excellency Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi, held talks with the Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives, Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, focusing on digital projects supporting the shift toward a fully digital parliament.
The discussions highlighted systems and infrastructure upgrades implemented under the Shura Council’s strategic plan for 2024–2026, which aims to improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy in parliamentary processes through modern technologies, including artificial intelligence applications.
