SPE Bahrain Section honours IPTC founder

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Bahrain Section honoured Mr. Faisal Al Mahroos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Upstream, for being one of the founders of the International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC).
Mr. Al Mahroos is one of the leading figures of the oil and gas sector. His dedication and contributions span over decades and have been invaluable to the industry in Bahrain and beyond, reaching out across the MENA region and the Eastern Hemisphere.
He has received several key awards at local, regional, and global arenas. The IPTC was launched back in 2005 to provide a separate event for industry professionals in the eastern hemisphere. Along with founders Nasser Al Jaidah, Mahmood Abdul Albaqi, and Dr. Pinar Yilmaz, Mr. Al Mahroos recognized the importance of creating a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in petroleum technology, setting a new standard for inclusivity and collaboration, while fostering innovation and networking among global professionals.
His never-ending efforts are truly commendable and will undoubtedly resonate with the Oil and Gas industry and the Kingdom of Bahrain for the generations past, current and ones to come.
