Woman sentenced to jail, fined BD3000 for violating quarantine

A woman who violated the rules of home quarantine was slapped with one year suspended imprisonment and BD 3000 fine.
Chief Prosecutor Adnan Al-Wadaei of the Lower Criminal Court found her guilty of violating the rules of home quarantine and thus spreading Covid-19 to six others.
The Public Health Department had informed the Public Prosecution that the defendant was infected with the virus.
