The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism chairs the work of the meeting of the National Committee for Standardization and Metrology

His Excellency, Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, chaired the 52nd meeting of the National Committee for Standardization and Metrology, which was held today in the presence of members of the committee, representatives of the public and private sectors, in addition to a number of experts with specialization.
During the meeting, the topics listed on the agenda were presented, the most important of which is a review of a number of projects for proposed specifications, regulations and technical requirements at the national level, including technical requirements for liquefied gas cylinder transport vehicles, a national technical regulations for medical devices and supplies and a national technical regulation for armature requirements in coordination with the authorities Other related matters in preparation for taking legal measures by issuing the necessary legislations with the Legislative and Legal Fatwa Authority.
