Worker’s body flown back to Pakistan

The body of a Pakistani worker, Asif Mahmood, who died after falling from a seven-storey building under construction in Hamad Town, has been flown back to Pakistan.
Community Counselor Maqsood Qadir Shah said that his body was flown back to Rawalpindi, his native city, in Pakistan. The Pakistan Embassy issued all the necessary documents for the transportation of the dead body.
The unfortunate incident occurred on August 10, while 34-year-old Mahmood from Punjab province of Pakistan, was busy working. The company where he worked bored the expenses of transportation of the body. A few of his friends also contributed some amount.
Shah told DT News that the embassy was fully supportive in issuing the documents necessary for the transportation of the dead body. Shah offered condolences to the grieved family and prayed for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, he advised workers to safeguard themselves against all unnatural deaths by following the safety rules. He also said it is the responsibility of the companies to ensure all security measures are implemented in its premises. Awareness lectures must also be conducted for the workers, he added.
Pakistan Ambassador to Bahrain Muhammad Saeed Khan also expressed grief over the sad demise of Mahmood and advised all the Pakistani workers to abide by the safety rules to avoid accidents.
