Bahrain's Sami Al Haddad backs Hamza Kooheji

Manama : Bahrain’s only IFBB Professional Bodybuilder Sami Al Haddad expressed his support to Bahrain’s only professional MMA fighter Hamza Kooheji. Hamza will be representing Bahrain in Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions to be held on 17 November 2017 under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. Hamza will be competing in the Bantamweight division of Brave.

“Sami Al Haddad is one of the first athletes from the Kingdom of Bahrain to take a sport to the international level and become immensely successful. It is a motivating experience to meet the legend himself. He had inspired generations of youth in Bahrain and is a veteran. I am confident that I will make the Kingdom proud this time by winning at Brave,” said Hamza Kooheji.

The ninth edition of Brave will be featured during the 2017 Brave International Combat Week to be held from 12 to 19 November at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. The International Combat Week also features 2017 IMMAF World Championships under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Bahrain will become the first nation other than the United States of America to host the IMMAF World Championships.
