Bahrain court closes adultery case
Manama: The High Criminal Appeals Court has closed the case of a woman, who was allegedly caught having an affair with another man, by her husband. This came after the accused paid BD20,000 in compensation to the husband for cheating him.
She was earlier handed down two years behind bars with her boyfriend.
The wife’s boyfriend was studying with her in the same institution.
Despite several warnings, the husband said, the boyfriend did not stop dating her. “This prompted me to file a complaint,” the husband stated.
