Citizens top govt’s agenda: PM

Manama: Highlighting the government’s constant desire to improve the quality of  services, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the citizens’ needs top the government’s agenda.

“Despite the challenges facing the development process, the government is resolved to ensure that its development plans go ahead as planned,” Prince Khalifa remarked while speaking in the presence of a number of senior State officials here yesterday.

During the meeting, HRH Premier reviewed issues related to services, including health sector. In this regard, the Prime Minister praised the role played by Bahraini families, which tend to direct their charitable work towards setting up more health facilities that support the government’s efforts to develop health and therapeutic services in the Kingdom.

Commenting on economy, Prince Khalifa highlighted the crucial role played by the financial and banking institutions in supporting the national economy and creating job opportunities for Bahrainis.

HRH Premier also confirmed the government’s keenness on creating an economic milieu backed by a strong legislative package that stimulates financial and banking investments.
